Electrical conductivity and structural conditionality of ion transfer in langasite La-=SUB=-3-=/SUB=-Ga-=SUB=-5-=/SUB=-SiO-=SUB=-14-=/SUB=-:Mn

The temperature dependence of the static electrical conductivity sigma dc (T) a single crystal lanthanum gallium silicate (langasite) La 3 Ga 5 SiO 14 activated with an impurity Mn (1000 ppm) has been studied by impedance spectroscopy. Impedance measurements (sp. gr. P321, Z=1) were carried out along crystallographic axes (double symmetry axis) and c (triple axis). It was found that values || are significantly higher than , anisotropy is /sigma =170 at 773 K. activation energy electrotransport E =0.75±0.05 1.09±0.02 eV axes, respectively. mechanism ionic nature character; oxygen vacancies V O oo most probable current carriers.
